High performance anion exchange chromatography with pulsed amperometric detection (HPAEC-PAD) is becoming more common in laboratories for sugar profile analysis due to the benefits it provides in comparison to the traditional methodologies. However, compendial methods have not kept up with current trends in this field. An updated compendial method for sugar profile analysis is needed for the areas of food and pet and animal feeds.

DavidEllingson.pngIn this presentation, given by David Ellingson a Senior Research Chemist at Covance Food Solutions, the benefits of HPAEC-PAD will be discussed along with a method that intends to meet the needs of food and feed analysis.

Register for this webinar and you'll learn:

  • All about HPAEC-PAD and its benefits
  • Method development to meet the requirement for a compendial method in food and pet/animal feeds
  • About the techniques and steps within the method and why they’re used
