The goal of the study was to evaluate a dilute-and-shoot approach followed by LC-MS/MS for the analysis of the mycotoxins legislated by the EU as well as some additional mycotoxins of current interest.

A simple and fast multi-mycotoxin method is demonstrated that covers the legislated mycotoxins as well as 3- and 15-acetyl-deoxynivalenol, deoxynivalenol-3-glucoside, nivalenol, its acetyl derivative fusarenon X and sterigmatocystin.
