Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS) is an engineering polymer with high resistance to chemical and thermal attacks. As PPS is soluble in 1-chloronaphthanlene at extremely elevated temperatures (> 200 °C) it is possible to characterize it through high temperature GPC.
